Ask challengers how they would reform BOG

Why do you want readers to believe that our local [legislative] delegation is on board with calls for reforming the WVU Board of Governors? These Democratic House of Delegates members sat on their hands during this entire eMBA scandal and did nothing proactive during the regular session.

In fact, just prior to the October awarding of the bogus degree to the governor's daughter, they voted for his special session legislation (SB2005) to increase the term for the chair of the BOG.

Either they were too blind to recognize the problem or too scared to introduce legislation to improve the BOG while Garrison and Manchin ruled the roost. Why should we believe they will do anything different when Garrison leaves?

These House members will be challenged in the November general election. Why doesn't The Dominion Post care what the challengers think?

Former delegate Cindy Frich tried in 2005 to remove politics from higher education. In addition, Frich has proposed proactive changes to the Republican Party platform in order to pursue these improvements.
