West Virginians for Life supports Cindy Frich

The West Virginians for Life Political Action Committee announced it has endorsed Cindy Frich, R-Monongalia, for re-election to the West Virginia House of Delegates in the 2006 primary election.

WVL PAC is the internal PAC for West Virginians for Life, the state pro-life organization.

W.Va. business council announces endorsements

BIC PAC, the newly-formed political action committee of the West Virginia Business & Industry Council has announced the endorsement of candidates running for the West Virginia Legislature in the May 9 Primary Election.

Endorsements include: Marion County, 43rd District, Rick Garcia (D); and Rick Starn (R); Monongalia County, 44th District: Robert Beach (D); Cindy Frich (R); Brian Louk (R); and Jim Manilla (R).

Monongalia County, District 13, Michael A. Oliverio (D); and Preston County, District 14, Preston County, Dave Sypolt (R).

Lawsuit Abuse group names two to 'Dirty Dozen' list

West Virginia Citizens Against Lawsuit Abuse researched the first primary campaign finance reports on file with the West Virginia Secretary of State and put two Monongalia County legislative candidates on the "Dirty Dozen" list.

Roughly nine of every 10 dollars collected in large contributions by Alex Shook, candidate for the 44th district seat in the House of Delegates, is from personal injury lawyers. Having taken almost $20,000 in large contributions from personal injury lawyer interests, Shook has the distinction of topping WV CALA's "Dirty Dozen" list after the first primary reporting period.

Half the money collected in large contributions by Barbara Evans Fleischauer, also a candidate for the 44th district House seat, is from personal injury lawyers.
